The @GamecockTrack relay didn’t take the lead in the #NCAATF 4x400m final… until the final leg, when anchor leg Andrew Salvodon overhauled Alabama to claim a 3:02.07 victory.

After the initial round of protests, Habtom Samuel has been disqualified from the #NCAATF 3000m final for contact on the final turn of the race.

Colin Sahlman is now listed as the NCAA 3000m champion at 7:41.66.

Axelina Johansson of @HuskerTFXC OBLITERATES the field in the #NCAATF shot put final. The collegiate record holder not only won the competition by over a full meter with her 19.55m fourth round best.

Temitope Adeshina of @TexasTechTF needed two attempts to stay in the #NCAATF high jump competition at 1.91m… but that didn’t faze her, as she was the only athlete in the field to clear 1.94m and 1.97m on the first try.

Less than 24 hours after she anchored the @oregontf DMR to a #NCAATF title, Wilma Nielsen gets her SECOND big win of the weekend with a 4:40.06 victory in the mile final.

After BYU’s Riley Chamberlain took the field most of the way home, Nielsen used a 28.48 final 200m to win.

ABSOLUTE DOMINANCE 😳

The #NCAATF distance medley relay ended up turning into the Colin Sahlman Show, as the @NAUTrackFieldXC senior so thoroughly beat down the field on the anchor leg that he had time to celebrate coming around the final turn, clocking a 9:19.95.

STEPPING ON UP 🔝

After finishing second in last year’s #NCAATF distance medley relay, the @oregontf ladies get the upgrade done as Wilma Nielsen doubles back from the mile prelims to anchor her squad to a dominant 10:58.76 win.

Marco Langon of @NovaTrackXC records his highest career #NCAATF finish in the men’s 5000m, clocking a 13:36.98 for second behind winner Habtom Samuel.

Despite Langon’s 26.55 last 200m, Samuel was able to outlast the Villanova runner.
