There was a slight opening up the Ramparts Ridge Trail where you can see the other mountain peak! Helps give a good scale for how much you've hiked up since it's a really steep trail😮💨🏔️

Suppose I shouldn't be surprised as The Ramparts is steep, but many trees fell with deep roots keeping them from sliding too much.

(1/2) "Rampart Ridge Trail" is a tougher hike from a steep path, but it's def a unique experience!
This stream rolls down most of the height, so it's a neat checkpoint when the path bends around each time!

The lighting was doing some neat things as the sun was going down! The snowy peaks were kinda glowing, water was reflecting orange, and you could see a clear delineation from the sun against the mountains.
