(1/2) Darkness was really creeping in (hence dark vid) before reaching the top, but this cute stream/bridge felt like a fitting cap to the hike.
A guide said The Ramparts felt like a fairy tale, and I would agree!

There was a slight opening up the Ramparts Ridge Trail where you can see the other mountain peak! Helps give a good scale for how much you've hiked up since it's a really steep trail😮💨🏔️

Like the 1st hike, trekked high enough to see snow!❄️ There wasn't as much here for various reasons, but I still love to see it.

Suppose I shouldn't be surprised as The Ramparts is steep, but many trees fell with deep roots keeping them from sliding too much.

(1/2) "Rampart Ridge Trail" is a tougher hike from a steep path, but it's def a unique experience!
This stream rolls down most of the height, so it's a neat checkpoint when the path bends around each time!

Water runoff in "The Trail of Shadows" had an orange tint, sediment? Dirt itself? Reflection? Combinations of them? Either way it was cool!
