My favourite view in all of Nanaimo. The point at Sunset Beach. I have admired this view for 35 years, watched the trees grow, had picnics on the rocks beneath the tree branches. We watched eagles and sea lions and the ocean roll in and out every day we spent there.

Sunrise 🌅 over the water. The light highlights Pipers Lagoon and drifts across the bay to the beach. An old pier, rotting back to the earth, points to the sun.

Glorious morning views at Neck Point a few days ago. Making up for a very soggy day.
