The bad guy is far from being the main problem, but he's not very good either.
Though, the episodes he was in, I liked the most.

That is NOT the issue with #StarTrek, it's a straw man argument to say people hate #NewTrek because of change.
I love everything from 1966 to 2005.
Outside of that, the IP was handed to people who do not respect it & treat the fans with contempt as an automatic, inherited audience!

New #startrek has been critizied as being woke. However the fact is startrek has tackled issue of racism, sexualty, politics, religious extremisn, gender identity and politics since 1966, this isnt new.
#newtrek however does lack the subltey and nuance of classic trek which imho is more problamatic

The real problem with New Star Trek is the distinct lack of Jeffrey Combs. He's only played a single role since the since the Enterprise finale.

It’s disappointing that @netflix.com passed on S3. It’s even more disappointing (and unbelievably short-sighted) that @paramountpictures.bsky.social and Nickelodeon both passed on S2 WHILE IT WAS IN PRODUCTION. Despite all this, #StarTrekProdigy remains the best of #NewTrek. Watch it while you can.

Am Anfang war es als Hobby noch recht easy zu schultern, aber mit dem Umfang der #NewTrek Serien stieg auch unser Anspruch an eine saubere Tonproduktion und einen spannenden Schnitt.
Unsere Zeit/ Ressourcen haben stark abgenommen, wie unsere Supporter*innen wissen. Dafür haben wir noch keinen Fix.

#newtrek kann also nicht nur bescheuerte und gleichzeitig völlig belanglose Geschichten mit Figuren erzählen die keinen Charakter haben und trotzdem unsympathisch sind, es kann die Geschichten auch wirklich hässlich erzählen!

One of the many reasons I can never give #NewTrek or it's fans any love is it seems to be lots of social media hate & complaining nobody is as passionate about the products as they are.
