Day 25: Protagonist 2’s chapter are slower writing but filled with more world building and new weird stuff than P1. This is probably because I’ve got more of a sense of the world now, but also because I really like this character.

Day 24: I introduced some interesting characters today, so the writing took longer but the end result was stronger. Protagonist 2’s story is beginning to unfold nicely.

Day 21 + 22: Yesterday’s writing session went really well, easily the best of Protagonist 1s chapters. Today was mopping up and concluding. I’m very happy with where the novel is so far.

Day 12: Part 3 for Protagonist 1 is underway. Writing is therapy for me at the moment. I’m going through some tough stuff but I find that 3 hours at the keyboard in the morning is just the pick me up I need. I want to teach myself how to write under pressure, and this is that.

Day 7: I decided to add a character yesterday that had come into my head almost fully formed. Today, I introduced him and I already know I’m going to enjoy writing this non-human person.

Day 5: Part 1 for Protagonist 1 is finished. I’m happy with where this is going. I’ve made a few minor changes to the story, but the main themes and outcome remain the same. Now, I can put it to one side until Monday where I’ll move onto Part 2.
