In reality he did have a favourite amongst his flock, one that would surprise anyone who knew.

He still had his boots on and the cape was wrapped around his body like a blanket. The younger brother was almost scared of waking him up, knowing how much his brother needed the rest. Above all things, however, Míngjué needed care."
