Our first night in Japan and I found a brewery a couple of minutes from our hotel, because of course I did. We had the WC IPA, Galaxy hazy, and pastry stout. This place was fun and had a cool atmosphere.

We got to our hotel in Nippori a couple of hours ago, and Karen asked me to find a place to eat. I picked a little place close by called Inaba, and it was amazing. We got sashimi, Nagasaki ray fin, grilled veg, tempura, and sake. The perfect first meal in Japan!

BOHEME PLUS BEAUDESSINでお願いしていたバッグが届いたと連絡いただき、受け取りに。

先週もきたけど、せっかくなので気になっていた甘味処に寄らせてもらい、夕方の谷中ぎんざ商店街を通って帰りました。

1945年創業だそうです。
抹茶のソフトクリームが程よく濃厚で、白玉、粒あん、求肥、フルーツと盛りだくさん。器も素敵でした。

羽二重団子 本店
羽二重だんご(煎茶付)

一度行ってみたかった羽二重団子。
八潮からの帰り、北千住から日暮里へ移動して念願を叶えてきました。

1819年(文政2年)創業、夏目漱石「吾輩は猫である」や正岡 子規「道潅山」に登場する”芋坂の團子”。

せっかく来たので、焼き団子と餡団子のセットを店内で頂くことにしました。
団子にしてはなかなかのお値段ですが、小ぶりで餅がやわやわ、品の良い優しい味付けで美味しかったです。
