“The people at Colostomy UK were so helpful on the phone and shared lots of information and even posted things out to me for my school so my friends could look at Sam’s Story and learn all about stomas with me!” When Katie and her mum called the helpline, they were met with a wealth of knowledge, reassurance and a friendly ear when it was needed most. This service, run by us and manned by volunteers with lived experience really is a lifeline to so many.
