A picture taken at night. To the left of center middle, a badger is walking directly toward the camera.The badger and its immediate surroundings are light, above is black. It is maybe10 ft from the camera. Its head is cone shaped with the round widest part at the top narrowing to its nose. There is a thin white stripe from center nose, over its head and along its back. Its feet and end of nose are darker than the rest of its gray body. The photo makes it look like there are jagged white outline around its eyes, but it's the white rim of the inside of its ears combined with some white cheek markings. The badger is low to the ground and is walking on field grass that is mowed short, but right behind it is a large mound of dirt to one side of a hole into the ground (not seen). There is another pile of dirt closer to the bottom right. It looks determined to find a gopher.
