A small moth resting on a rose leaf. The moth has black and white markings that make it look like bird poop. It also has a small yellow tuft at the front of its head.

So as I was checking one of my rose bushes I saw that the birds had pooped on it - but then on closer inspection it was a Yellow Faced Bell Moth - Notocelia cynosbatella. Will post the close up shots later
