North Sea Jazz pakte op het eind uit met frisse jazz, én een overrompelend goede show van Anoushka Shankar North Sea Jazz: Voor spannende, frisse jazz moest je op zondag in Rotterdam zijn. Jonge Amerikanen, een Britse en een opvallende nieuwe Franse naam: Sophye Soliveau. Toch kwam het onverwachte hoogtepunt van sitarster Anoushka Shankar. „I’m so happy!”

Door alle verkeersdrukte net te laat om echt in de zaal bij Thee Sacred Souls te zijn, maar gelukkig is er in het foodplein een gigascherm met zeer goed geluid. Dus pakken we hen gewoon nog mee.
