Forest won that game in the first ten minutes of Q3. Rhinos did well to pull things back in the Q3 supershot time, and were still fighting at the start of Q4, but they just couldn’t keep it going and struggled to convert the supershots at the end of the game. #netball #nsl2026

Where were - most of - Q4 Pulse in Qs 1, 2 and - most of - Q3?! If they’d played that well throughout the game then it would have been theirs, but Lightning were both more consistent and more consistently strong, so could withstand the pressure when it eventually came. #netball #nsl2026

Was going to say that Mavericks casually dominated the first half, but Panthers started showing more bite towards the end of Q2, although they struggled to land the supershots. If they can keep that momentum going into Q3, Mavericks will have to move up a gear. #nsl2026 #netball

Dragons felt a bit too hesitant, especially early doors, and even more so after a turnover. They often seemed to not know where to send the ball, and Thunder were easily able to take advantage of that apparent insecurity. #netball #nsl2026

Round 2 comes to a close with Forest getting a 10-goal win after Panthers gave them a real fight.
Earlier in the round, Thunder also won by 10, Pulse held on in a thriller against Dragons, and Nat Panagarry celebrated 200 games as Lightning continued their hot start.
