Nyx is a Dhampir, around 500ish years old, he was born when cazador was still a spawn.
His mom is Lunetta, a high elf Cleric, she met his father by chance :)

However I’d like to think Astarion fell harder.
Nyx had no clue what they were feeling for Astarion was, and their father didn’t help✌🏻😔
they were both in deep denial for the longest time.
