Toshira Garraway holds a sign with a photo of her romantic partner Justin Teigen, found dead an interaction with Saint Paul Police in 2009. Next to and behind her a racially diverse crowd marches on a Minneapolis sidewalk, directly next to and behind her on her right is a group of approximately half a dozen Black youth. Much of the crowd is carrying signs and banners.

The aforementioned protest crowd pauses at the intersection of E 26th & Minnehaha Ave. in Minneapolis, with some of the crowd in the street and some on the sidewalk. Vehicles and bikes hold space in the intersection to protect the crowd, one car has a "Justice 4 Amir" sign on its back window (referring to Amir Locke, killed by Minneapolis Police in 2022.)

Minneapolis: Demonstrators marking the #O22 National Day of Protest Against Police Brutality marched from the ruins of the Minneapolis Police Department's 3rd Precinct (destroyed in the 2020 George Floyd uprising) to the new proposed location at 2600 Minnehaha Ave, chanting "No New Precinct!"
