A loud yell resonated throughout the forest clearing. Before my upper body finished rotating around to look at the voice, a sudden, searing heat behind me sent me flying forward. I instinctively rolled to cover my now slightly burnt back from hitting the ground, and doing so allowed me to see what was happening around me. How could I ever even begin to explain what it felt like? It was as if I had been caught up in a calamity, and the calamity itself had decided to save me. Not because of anything specific I had done to aid it, but simply because it deemed my presence alongside it acceptable. It was terrifying.
But oh, that calamity was so bright. Who could blame a moth for coveting the warmth that would burn its wings? Who could possibly blame the fish that swam towards the only light in the deep? Even amidst the deep-dark smoke, I could see its raging silhouette clearly against the flashes in front of it. Even after the explosions stopped, it took a while for the smoke and ash to dissipate. Bodies of the enemies crudely decorated the battlefield. The calamity stepped over one of them on its way to me.

Sariel is a cold grey-skinned, slim and slightly malnourished man with long black hair, parted in the middle. His eyes are a piercing ice blue colour, contrasting with the deep dark eyebags. He is wearing a dramatic top with a tall collar, metal details and blood-red frills. He is also wearing a rose-shaped eyepatch on his left eye and black leather gloves with hand armour on his thumb, index and middle finger. Trevellain is a large, tan and broad-shaped man with pale blonde hair. Unlike the usual, Trevellain's half-up hairdo is longer, reaching beyond his shoulders. He is wearing a hunter's coat with a leather harness. On his face are a pair of sleek reading glasses. Sariel is half-lying down on a tattered vanity, his left arm leaning against it for support as his right arm curls around Trevellain's shoulder. Trevellain is standing between Sariel's legs, pushing the smaller man's left leg upwards for, allegedly, more space in the photo. Both of them seem to be having a relatively good time, so that's why you know this photoshoot isn't exactly canon for now.... :)
