For another thing, this guy looked entirely too put together for a teenage boy. His blonde hair was artfully sculpted into meticulously swooped waves on his head. His school tie was perfectly knotted into a full Windsor that was cinched right up to his throat (unlike Ed’s schoolboy knot that was hanging loosely around his neck, since it felt too much like a noose when he tightened it). And his shoes, good lord, Ed could only assume that he was trying to look up the girl’s skirts with how shiny his shoes were. Rich bro-ey assholes were usually pervy like that. Jesus, how many tins of polish had he used?!? Ed had gotten so lost in his thoughts that he didn’t realize that Captain Dimples was now standing there, still smiling away at him like a lunatic, but with his hand now thrust out for Ed to shake. He could tell from the look in the other boy’s eyes that he was waiting for Ed to say something, but Ed had been too zoned out to know what that was.
My first #ofmdRBB and my first #WIPwednesday from my story! Trying out some new stuff stuff this go round, with some time skips, and (how is this even me?) some light angst! Really excited to share what @jammydormouse.bsky.social and I have for you. 😊
