The image depicts a rustic wooden cabin with weathered siding and an uneven roof made of corrugated metal. The structure shows signs of age, such as exposed beams and peeling paint on the exterior walls. To the right side, there is a stone chimney that stands tall above the roofline. On the porch area, various items like pots with plants are placed along the front steps leading into an open doorway.
Behind this cabin lies another structure made from logs, which appears to be even older and more worn than the first one. The ground around both cabins shows patches of grass and dirt, suggesting a rural or semi-rural setting. In the foreground on the right side, there is some vegetation that could possibly be part of a garden.
The image has a handwritten date "92197 E" at the top left corner, indicating it may have been taken in 1921 based on its composition and quality. This black-and-white photograph captures an essence reminiscent of early to mid-20th-century rural life, possibly from North Carolina as mentioned in the caption.

The image shows an old wooden cabin with a rustic appearance. The structure is made of log construction, as evidenced by the visible wood grain and joints between logs on both sides of the building. A stone chimney rises from one corner of the house, indicating that there may be a fireplace or stove inside.

One notable feature of this dwelling is its worn-out corrugated metal roof, which shows significant signs of aging and possible damage in some areas where panels appear to have been removed or are missing entirely. The porch area has wooden steps leading up to double doors with glass panes, suggesting an entrance into the house.

Flanking either side of these doors on the left is a small display case featuring several potted plants, which add a touch of life and color to the otherwise monochromatic image. To the right outside of this cabin stands another log building that appears even older than its companion structure with visible weathering and discoloration.

A dog run or pathway runs alongside these buildings on their left side, where flowering plants can be spotted in metal cans for added decoration. The ground surrounding both cabins is covered by grass or dirt, but the exact type of soil or terrain cannot be determined from this angle alone.

In summary, the image captures a glimpse into rural life and architecture with its depiction of wooden log structures th [...]

The photograph captures a rustic tobacco barn prominently in the foreground with an attached shelter to its front. The structure appears aged, exhibiting weathered wooden logs and beams that suggest significant exposure to natural elements over time. A corrugated metal roof extends above the main building, partially supported by vertical timbers which may serve as additional support or simply decorative touches reminiscent of barn architecture's practicality in rural settings.

The shelter portion is open on one side, revealing a dark interior space, potentially used for curing tobacco leaves after harvest. To its left stands an accumulation of wood logs and timber stacks against the outer wall, indicating ongoing storage activities typical to such agricultural practices. The surrounding area seems sparse with no other buildings or structures in sight; this gives off a sense of solitude and isolation that is often associated with farmland settings.

The photograph is monochromatic, suggestive of its vintage origins as it captures stark contrasts between light and shadow on the barn's wooden surfaces, accentuating textures like the bark of logs and grain within wood planks. The absence of people or machinery suggests a momentary pause in otherwise labor-intensive work cycles typically associated with tobacco farming.

#olivehill starting this one. I think it's interesting knowing that the period in time when the fictional crime happened would have been around when I graduated. Intrigued by where it's going

Also for #AudioDramaSunday I've been re-listening to a lot of shows #OliveHill, #AliceIsntDead, #Mirrors and I'm really having fun revisiting these shows!

I'm currently revisiting #LakeClarity by @pacificobadiah.com and I had almost forgotten how 'Horribly' fun this show was!
