Rhunak in a basic 3/4 view for the compendium. This will show how some individuals can display the various traits of the Omiyen subspecies.
Will probably delete later, but been wanting to use Rhunak as a phenotype reference for that section of the compendium I'm working on, since he's quite the anomaly.

The mask and ticking border were redrawn in a color that better suits her, and her base pelt color was lacking the silver dilution she's supposed to have. Here it's only really seen on her head, since necks and manes tend to be darker anyway. I think I'll widen her ears, too. She should be a daintier version of her brothers but they feel TOO thin.
Kharis now only has a cream dilution instead of cream and slate, so he's less grey. I was still feeling that he was a bit thin and dainty, but it works for where he is at the beginning vs later on when he's beefed up.
These two were still bothering me, I didn't like the color I'd gone with for Jhaneira's mask and redrew it, I may just take it out of her phenotype entirely.
Kharis was always more brown in my head so I did away with the slate dilution and I feel better about him now.

Rhago, a serious and quiet desert-born "guard". He has a cream dilution affecting the shade of his body, but masks negate dilutions and overlays, thus his base brown pigment shows in his face mask, which is edged with ticking due to the mask gene he has. He also displays what's colloquially called "striping".
Faron, a snarky noble from one of Omiyolta's founding lineages. Faron is what's colloquially called a "whitepelt" and his family commonly carries a slate dilution, making him cooler-toned than other whites and greys. He also has a grey gene which is the same effect as a grey roan, and gilding which isn't visible here.
Varre, a trade prince from one of the wealthiest and most famous families of the known world. Varre and his siblings carry a homozygous dominant gold gene, lending to a satin finish in their fur and higher fertility. He also displays "gilding" which are light markings that follow other patches of color or shapes along the body, seen as the sparse cream stripes here.
Kharis, the "disappointing" third son of an Omiyoltan noble founding lineage. Kharis' dark mask shows his brown base pigment through the cream and slate dilution genes affecting the rest of his body, and displays underside "branching" markings.
Picked out some of the profiles from the Omiyen sheet and tweaked them further to fit certain characters. Alt text has some basic info about their colors.
