Sunny!! In this AU, it's mainly in Kel's POV instead of Sunny's- at least in the real world parts, dream world/whitespace itll probably still be in his POV- since in this AU, after Mari's passing, he has fully locked himself away, and not a soul outside the castle has seen him since. Kel, who is a royal knight in this universe who serves a different kingdom- there's two main kingdoms, one where Mari and Sunny's family reigns, and another where Hero and Kel's family reigns- decides after recently receiving his new title as a knight to go on a quest to reunite with his old friends.
Kel my beloved!! Prince and also knight of the second kingdom, which neither have names yet- tbh I never put a crazy amount of thought into this AU since it was just for fun. If I ever actually decide to revisit it, there's probably going to be a bunch of things that change lol especially some of the designs. Him and Hero, possibly even Mari, are some of my fav designs tbh as of right now lol
Aubrey!! Once a cheerful and friendly local town girl, now a well renowned criminal and thief who is wanted for a serious crime. Definitely one of the ones who's design will need tweaking- though tbh they all need some updating
Hero, the charming and ever kind king of the other kingdom. Though he may seem cheerful and put together, ever since Mari passed its like a part of him had also vanished. Before Mari's passing, she and him were originally arranged to get married to officially unite the kingdoms- though of course, that ended up never happening. The two kingdoms aren't enemies by any means, but definitely ever since she passed theres been quite the amount of tension, as well as very little contact between the two kingdoms. Again... a lot of this will probably change if I ever revisit it, and honestly not sure if ill keep that there's two kingdoms or not- guess we'll see loll
