Started going through #TinaTurner’s discography lately. So far, I say #OneOfTheLiving is her best song. And if memory serves me correctly, I first heard that song in the movie #MadMaxBeyondThunderdome - a crap action film with an impressive soundtrack. Ⓐ

Album cover for the OST Mad Max beyond Thunderdome. This album is stamped with a capital record stamp in the left corner saying that it is for promotional purposes only. And came with a pristine poster of Mel Gibson and Tina Turner. This is a recent acquisition. I remember dancing in my living room to this soundtrack as a child (I was 10) and absolutely loving every song AND the instrumentals. I was privileged enough to see Tina Turner in 1987. Back to this album, I realized that this album firmly sits in the category of -if I’m going to go through an apocalypse this is what would be the start of that playlist- and it always has been.
