I'm trying to figure out the best way to store my org-roam files on a cloud service. I wonder if anyone in the community have setup any if the following software to encrypt their org files:
- EncFS
- gocryptfs
- cryptomator-cli
I'm trying to find a safe, reliable, and smooth solution that works […]

I used to take a lot of notes on #keep or #evernote which included picture. For instance, take a picture of a place or a presentation and add some notes.
Now that I'm moving to #emacs and #orgmode + #orgroam I'm wondering if someone has a workflow for doing this.

@ctietze i start using #orgroam 2022 but in the last year , rather less to none at all … main usage was writing and linking persons, terms … that I stumbled upon while reading the newspaper or a book
@ctietze thx for participating in #emacsconf this year … do you know / use #orgroam as #zettelkasten mode in emacs ?
Last week I started using #OrgRoam to attempt to replace #OrgBrain and do a better job of cataloging stuff for research. It's been interesting so far, I'm not sure how well it integrates into my workflow yet. #emacs #orgmode
maybe I should tag the above appropriately so somebody will tell me what to do #emacs #orgmode #orgroam #roam
Inspired by System Crafters and org-roam, I’m shifting from Evernote to a fully Emacs-based note-taking and research workflow. So nice to re-discover tools that have always been there, but I never got a chance to use properly. #OrgMode #OrgRoam #Notetaking
Now that my #emacs #orgroam notes are available online at notes.zstg.is-a.dev I should start adding stuff 🫠
Org-roam-ui visualization of my mind garden. A huge cluster of colorful nodes - large orange dots at the center and more spacious red dots on the outside, connected by gray links. Too many nodes to deal with!
Here's one with a bunch of mind-garden visualization screenshots: russmatney.com#/devlogs/202...
Not much context, and I'm not sure what to do with it yet - I have 5 years of brain-dumping into org-roam to wrestle with...

i'm thinking of radically changing how i take notes from a fully desktop oriented system (org roam in emacs) to a fully tablet oriented system (hand written notes in an app called noteshelf) i think it might make sense, but change is scary
