The night before, remembering something from his childhood when he used to visit, he went into the loft and rooted through the dusty boxes and found what he was looking for, an old biscuit tin with his Action Man and spare clothes, thankfully not thrown away. Going through the box he found a pair of black Action Man trousers and a dark camouflage shirt. Turning them inside out, he sewed up the inside seams to make them smaller and by the time he’d finished, had a perfectly acceptable set of clothes for your slightly shorter than average fairy. They fit surprisingly well, his wings slipping easily through the two slits he made in the back, much the same as Frenchie has in his tunic, but whereas Frenchie looks adorable and cute, Izzy is delighted to see that he looks quite badass. I am a combat fairy, he thinks to himself, unable to help a giggle escaping.
Sitting, comfortably naked, alongside him on a brightly painted mushroom ornament beside the pond, Frenchie looks at him sideways, a mischievous little look on his face.
