At #OurSorceryHour each presenter is compensated for their time. We do all the promotions for ourselves. We donate $2 from each ticket sold to the Social Org DIRECT RELIEF every year. And after compensating the presenters for their time, any extra money goes to charity, full transparency on that.
Virtual events also don't generate as much revenue as in-person events, but at @oursorceryhour.bsky.social we do everything in our power to compensate presenters for their time, also we promote them as much as we have the time to.
