The Great Horned Owl giving his wing a stretch. See other image if you want to see the leg stretch he did just after or before this, I forget which. This was a little before I left him, because I figured he's preparing to hunt and I didn't want to put him off that. I think I spent in total maybe 20 minutes with him. He was watching a group of Kingbirds a few trees over and above. Preening and grooming his feathers and stretching, to get ready for a hunt I'm sure.
