Grün! Es sieht aus wie eine hellgrüne Fläche. Es ist die Oberfläche des Flusses, voll mit Entengrütze. Links und rechts und bis nach vorne Büsche und Bäume. Unten rechts ist die Spitze des Bootes, ein Paddel und Arm und Bein eines Paddlers zu sehen.
Das heutige #Paddeln mit dem #Packraft war teilweise eine einzige Suppe. Wie Eintopf umrühren. Hat trotzdem Spaß gemacht.

Zerschnittene Müsliriegel liegen auf Backpapier. Durch die Haferflocken sind sie hellbraun beziehungsweise beige. Die dunklen Flecken sind von den Datteln.
und der fast blauem Himmel liegt mein Packraft auf dem fast spiegelglatt Wasser. Rechts Schilf, hohe Büsche und Bäume von der Sonne angestrahlt. Links ähnlich und deutlich dunkler. Am Ende des Flusses ist eine Brücke zu sehen. Ist eine Eisenbahnbrücke aus Stahl mit einem rot Ziegelständer.
In dem Spiegel glatten Wasser spiegeln sich sogar die Bäume und unweit des Schilfgürtel kann man zwei Nutria erkennen. Sie ragen kaum aus dem Wasser.
Erst Müsliriegel backen und nach dem späten Feierabend noch eine Runde aufs Wasser.
Das war ein ganz schön.
Die Nutria haben sich von mir nicht stören lassen. Die sollen gut schmecken. Ob ich die einfach jagen darf? ;)

Zum #Paddeln paddeln hat schon was.
Hat auch den Nachteil, dass ich nicht nur 2 Stunden Paddelkurs hab. Sondern auch eine halbe Stunde hin und eine halbe Stunde zurück paddle.
Und die Schlepperei dieser Kajaks. Himmel sind die schwer.
Da lobe ich mir mein #Packraft.

Heute haben wir die Vatertagstour mit dem #Packraft auf der #Schwentine nachgeholt. Töchterchen und ich im Boot. Mein netter Nachbar in seinem Kajak. Rund 6 Stunden unterwegs. Nu iss Vatti platt. 😀

Das hellblaue Packraft neben einem Baum am Wasser.
Mit dem Boot unterwegs auf dem Fluss. Im Boot ist mein Rucksack und mein Trinkbecher zu erkennen. Wolken sind am Himmel. Links kann man Schilf erkennen. Rechts einen grünen Busch.
Wie das Bild eben. Nun liegt das Boot etwas schräg nach links. Wir sehen sehr viel Schild und im Hintergrund Bäume.
Nur Fluss, links Schild, rechts hohe grüne Bäume. Der Himmel ist blau mit vielen weißen Wolken.
Heute habe ich meine erste #PackRaft Tour auf der #Schwentine gemacht. Das hat schon richtig Spaß gemacht. Wenn auch meine Arme weniger begeistert sind.

Out on the #packraft yesterday on the #Gloucester and #Sharpness #canal. It's a shipping canal and so wider than there usual UK canal. Also warm and sunny. The bike can carry the boat and the boat can carry the bike.

A great day hike/backpack trip is Fortymile Gulch & Willow Creek in Grand Staircase-Escalante NM. The loop is ~11.2 miles.
Next Level: #packraft & #backpack from Crack-in-the-Wall in Coyote Gulch & out Fortymile Gulch.
You will need a permit & wag bags. 3-5 days.
