I'm #eavesdropping on another #Panera regular who has ostentatious, hyper-gregarious "sales calls" here all the time, but he's just answered one (usually they're outgoing, the prick), and the caller is in a panic, and this guy has called him, "Buddy" or "Bud" (I kid you not) 8-10 times in 2 mins 😵💫
I'm inadvertently #eavesdropping on this high-energy guy sitting w/ friends at #Panera (he's probably 15, 16), & he initially ironically said, "Are you proud of me?" to his friends, but no one laughed, so he doubled down, and now he's said it, like, 8 times, & at this point, it just sounds real 😬

#Panera prices are outrageous but when you look at a menu that charges $21.50 for 32 ounces of chicken soup and $7.50 for a grilled cheese sandwich, yet you still choose to swipe your credit card, you are part of the problem.
We rarely eat in #Panera but we did last weekend. 1/2 a sandwich and a "you pick two" with two drinks was $42. I told my husband, enjoy that this will be the last time we come here. Too bad I always liked Panera
