I'd like to think of his attraction as a free roam "meat processing plant." It was shut down four years after it had opened due to an incident where a guest was boiled alive in the boiler room. Because of this, Gekido was moved to a different attraction called "Casino of Rage."

Twelve years later, the whole park was shut down, due to bankruptcy and NUMEROUS lawsuits. Because of this, all the animatronics, including Gekido, were left to rot, and Gekido's face had melted due to overheating.
