Its stipe is bright yellow, smooth, and has an interesting and faint alternating pattern of darker and lighter yellow. The cap is an emerald green color - lighter around the margins and darker at the top - with vertical striations of dark green around the edge. This stubby little mushroom is growing to the right as it comes out from underneath a spiky brown tree leaf. Its stipe is a nice, even yellow color, leading to a shiny, jewel-like light and dark green cap. The cap looks glassy, reflecting the outlines of tall trees and the sky above it. The edges of the cap slightly flare out and are bright green with dark green vertical, evenly separated striations. The rest of the cap is a darker olive/emerald green.
