so Boat2 first- only TheBoat has a tentative name at present.. the pencilled in name of Tooker in honor of Tooker Gomberg, a big inspiration to me.. so, Boat2 (promoting the naming contest is about to be redeoubled in outreach and promotion) is missing it's two seats, a chunk of hull.. its dialled for the captains seat to be mounted, the prop drive to be installed and.. the transmission to be set in place and.. tested out. the only work i want to do before hitting the water is install the removable rudder.. it will have a carbon post, a thru- hull .. and be cable actuated but once done i can put her in the water and test out gears.. being on the water.. and more. once i head out.. once i set sail, Boat2 will be my extra stock trailer.. all my not so needed hardware and equipment and food will be stored in her (after rebuilding her hatch set up to be nicely watertight) and towed behind me.
