A reminder that #penguinweek is here as well as tumblr so you may use either or both sites to share your submissions. Nothing will be reposted onto the other social media but it will get reblogged where its posted. Works added to the AO3 collection will have links shared if not already done so.

This is the first year of #penguinweek, so I have no metric to measure it by, but I'm optimistic of a good turnout and honestly getting any entries will be a win. I hope everyone finds something to make them smile, move them to tears or generally hit them emotionally. Possibly even meet new friends.

A reminder that #penguinweek is just for fun so don't feel pressured by any of it. There's been encouragement to step outside of comfort zones but if you have one thing you'd rather stick to then you're welcome to do so. Let everyone else see how much you love your vision and they'll love it too 💜

ONE WEEK LEFT!
The time is almost upon us. It's 7 days until the first prompt and 13 until the last. We've had fun imagining all the great works we're going to see for #penguinweek but now we have to prepare to deliver. Whichever prompt or prompts you're aiming for, we're counting the days now folks

There's been a lot of different Penguins shared on here so far but by no means all the possibilities. Not least because I know a lot of fans have their own designs and original concepts. We'd be happy to see and share these unique looks at the character. #penguinweek is a time to celebrate them all.

We didn't forget Bruce Timm's latest series: Batman Caped Crusader. Our female Penguin won hearts and Oswalda will be a wonderful addition to #penguinweek. Her relationship with her boys, how she got to power in Gotham, or what may be next for her are all interesting ideas but let's see what you do.

Why stick to only one Penguin for #penguinweek? You have seven days to try other versions, maybe ones you're less familiar with. That could mean watching a show you haven't seen yet or reading a new comic. You could even use several variants in the same prompt. Hopefully we'll see lots of variety.
