I'd like to say, when I first heard "Natural Love" on the radio way back then, I assumed she was a new artist. Unaware at that time she'd been around and had been chalking up the hits since the 60s. So, I know all too well, how this generation of youngsters sometimes aren't aware of just how legendary some people are when first getting introduced to their music.
44 years ago today, February 6, 1982, Petula Clark debuted on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart at #74 with “Natural Love”. It went on to peak at #20 and spent a total of 14 weeks on the chart.
