So I play a lit of Pathfinder 1st Edition and I have tried D&D 5e and to an extent D&D 5.5e. I don’t know why but I do not really enjoy D&D 5e… I’ve looked at it and tried playing it and even DMed 5e a bit but… every time I just can’t get into it. Has anyone else felt this way?

Two cartoony fantasy women drawn at a 3/4 angle. At left: Suraya San Goran (my character), an undine watersinger bard. She's half-triton instead of half-elemental. She's around average height and kinda chubby, with blue-grey skin and messily tied dark hair. She wears a blue short-sleeved tunic and brown work pants with thick socks and plain leather shoes. She also has a collared canvas vest which is great for keeping the sun off her neck when working, and she wears it often (even though she totally spilled coffee all over it months ago). At right: Luchia Kail (my friend's character), a half-sea-elf waves oracle. She's tall and slender, with sand-colored skin and coral green hair intricately tied into two buns. The point of her left ear was noticeably cut off. She wears a frilly, ocean-themed dress and fancy blue sandals, along with multiple pieces of jewelry fashioned from worn stone and coral and sea glass. She also has an ankle sheath with a rope cutting knife.
