From my understanding a hospital 1) gives its land to #PFI co on 125 yr lease
2) hospital pays rent on the land while #PFI uses land to borrow ££ to build hospital 3) #PFI co charges rent for hospital over 20-25 yrs
4) #PFI co charge for maint. & servicing
NHS Hit at each point.

My employer asked our network co for a quote.
£250 for 2 x ports.
#PFI is a rip off
Some guy in Notts ran a #PFI co and in, I think 2012 had profit over £90 mill from 3-4 contracts
That's £90 mill tax payers money NOT spent on healthcare.
