June 2022: Good news from 🇫🇷 regarding access to #bacteriophages and #phagetherapy as the French health authority @ansm authorized officially the compassionate use of 2 S. aureus #pherecydes #phages in the field of complex bone and joint infections #CRIOAc

This week we treated two new patients @CrioacLyon (31th and 32th @CHUdeLyon) with complex S. aureus prosthetic joint infection by injections under sonography of a cocktail of #phages provided by #pherecydes. Hope that targeting Staph #biofilm will help to control the infection!

This week @CHUdeLyon we treated for the first time in an ICU a patient with severe relapsing pandrug resistant P. aeruginosa ventilator-associated pneumonia with sepsis ➡️ A bacteriophage cocktail provided by #pherecydes was used under the supervision of @ansm ➡️ Hope that helps!
