Does anyone out there know anything about the history of Mosalite? This is what I know: it was (is?) a Brazilian (Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais) firm that made boxes, plaques, paperweights etc. in the mid-late 20th Century. I would love to know more! #vintage #pietradura #pietredure #brazil

Devonian age Devon marbles in the pietre dure table. The include red and pink stones containing orthoceras fossils and also corals, and in the centre, a grey stone showing the fossil coral Heliolites. The black stone is Ashford Black Marble from Derbyshire.
