Today, several #pikefire crews and admin, along with the Pike Township Trustee's Office staff, trustee Annette Johnson, and members of the community took part in a Community Cleanup Day. Several dozens of large trash bags were filled with the litter that people dump and/or leave behind.

Today marks the 12 year anniversary of the passing of Jacqueline "Jaci" Phillips. In addition to her 20 years of service to #pikefire and Pike Township, she was a member of Indiana USAR Task Force #1 and was part of the rescue efforts at Ground Zero. #PTFD #neverforgotten

A beautiful day for getting the foam trailer out and training. Foam-60 is a specialized piece of apparatus that requires a lot of hands-on time to familiarize firefighters with its operation. Foam 60 is stationed at Pike Station 63 near 86th & Michigan Rd. #pikefire. #beprepared
