This is proving to be a great year for the wood rushes. Luzula sylvatica 'Bromel' here looking fantastic. Good for shade, even quite dark as long as it isn't bone dry.

Dicentra formosa ssp oregana really is a lovely form of the species and incredibly tolerant of our too dry and too warm climate in East Anglia. Will even grow in sun!

Will be potting a new batch after flowering.

Uvularia grandiflora var pallida making a lovely subtle contribution in light shade at the moment. Great with white variegated Acorus and Luzula behind.

Good soil that doesn't dry out too much!

Corydalis vivipara stock is starting to recover after being decimated by voles the winter before last. Hopefully some to sell again next year!

Isopyrum thalictroides doesn't flower much but you just have to stop and look when it does. Low growing woodlander that probably wants more moisture than we have!

Vinca difformis and it's selection 'Jenny Pym'. They offer the advantage of growing in dry shade with the size of the dreaded Vinca major while being more controllable.
