My piece of paper today was too big to hold in one hand and photograph the whole sheet with the camera in my other hand. My feet are on it to stop the wind blowing it into the sea. I folded it in four beforehand to make it easier to hold when walking.

For me it's a combination of out in the landscape, on the beach, and inside the sanctuary that is my studio. The studio cats and I have regular debates about who gets priority on the armchair in the corner.

Too windy to get this morning's drawing at its full length, even on video.
The paper doesn't flap about when I'm drawing because I've got it on my lap. Folding it into a concertina makes it easy to carry and lets me make it "smaller" as needed for the wind.

My pen drawing of part of the rocky sea shore at Portsoy, with houses peeking out the top of the hill. Done with water-soluble black-blur ink, with waterbrush used on the sea area to spread the ink.
Was out drawing here again today. New favourite spot. The sun went behind a cloud when I started doing the sea, before that it was much brighter (for northern latitude in November).
