i enjoyed the character writing and the internal monologues and the poems a lot... the events of the story had an interesting premise for 98% of it but it personally didn't thread that emotional needle at the end 😔 but man... the characters make it worth it

tatiana maslany's narration for the hunger games trilogy is really good. great to the point of making me tear up while im doing smth else kind of good... ill bump orphan black up my watch list, i wanna see what else she's done now

i read abt 40%... i did appreciate the chronic pain portrayal, and it was probably why i read as much as i did... but at 40% i just had to admit i was bored by every other aspect 😭

i liked this one. the narration fits the MC's passiveness, builds up slowly, peels away until it gets to the heart of things.. it eased you into the setting without dragging its feet imo. felt very cohesive. 👽
