The photo is of a long, rectangular stained glass window and shows Saint Francis kneeling in the center, with “sister moon” behind him as he faces the right side of the Stained glass window the rays from “brother son.” Most of the stained glass smaller rectangles that shade in color from Robin’s egg blue on the left, through pinkish colors in the middle that surround Saint Frances, to pink and yellow and light green rectangles on the far right. There appear to be small circles scattered about that could easily in my mind be constellations of stars. There was also a tree between Saint Francis and the sun, and low mountains in the background on the bottom.
I saw this stained glass window at the Franciscan Renewal Center in AZ last weekend. It was joyous, and a tribute to his Canticle of the Creatures. #PracticingJoy.
