A late-1940s early-1950s one of a kind handmade sterling silver and copper pendant necklace centering an ancient pre-Columbian green stone ‘little man’ figure, and with pre-Columbian stone beads in the chain - both the pendant and chain signed by Los Castillo, also marked “Sterling” with the early Eagle 15 mark - Antonio collected pre-Columbian artifacts from a young age, and made one of a kind pieces using them throughout his life. Earlier pieces like this one are much rarer than the pieces from the 1980s/90s period at the end of his life.
