Screenshot of a fic that reads: “LZ coming up fast,” Riley murmured in his ear. “Relax your body.” Sanderson swallowed thickly and wrapped his legs around Riley's waist, but kept the rest of his body relatively loose to minimize impact damage. Riley hit the ground hard, causing Sanderson's teeth to rattle, and rolled with their forward momentum, unclipping his chute so they wouldn't tangle. Sanderson felt the air rush from his lungs each time Riley's heavy body landed on top of him as they rolled. They must have done four or five complete revolutions before they finally came to a stop – Riley on his back and Sanderson straddling his lap. The position was compromising to say the least, but at this point Sanderson didn't give a damn. “Holy shit,” Sanderson whispered. “We're alive…we're fucking alive…” Riley chuckled beneath him, resting an exhausted hand on his thigh. “Thought bugs could fly, Sanderson.” “Shut the absolute fuck up.”

I'm writing a long haul Ghost backstory fic, and I can be funny sometimes.
