Segment 1 – Review the games of the weekend Other notes: 1.Cam Schlitter was dominate in his first outing – 5.1 IP, 1 hit, 0 ER, 8K/1BB a.I wasn’t sure about him coming into the season, but WOW that was something. 2.Several rookies have gotten off to strong starts a.Chase DeLauter – 4 for 9, 2K/0BB, 3 HR against the Mariners (against Gilbert and Kirby) b.JJ Wetherholt – 3 for 9, 1 HR, 1 SB, 1K/0BB, including a walk off hit c.Sal Stewart – 5 for 8, 1 HR, 1K/0BB 3.Michael McGreevy fastball averaged 90.7 mph (T 92.2) with only 6 whiffs on 36 swings, but somehow no-hit the Rays for six innings. I’m not sure about this one. Thoughts? 4.Andrew Vaughn becomes the fourth guy to fracture his hamate bone.
