Conor D in Y11 competed in the 8th USA IFK International Kyokushin Karate Tournament in Albany, New York, over the weekend. This was a very tough competition, and Conor came away with 1st place in the U18s Open Kata category.

Well done to India M and Isla M, they both competed at the ICO World Kickboxing Championships. India came third in her category, earning a bronze medal, and Isla came in at fourth place in her category. A great experience and a big achievement for both of them.

#Welldone to Saiguhan K in Y8 for his recent achievement in the Chidambaram Maths Challenge, held in May with around 225 students participating. On 12th July he attended the award ceremony in Croydon,securing his 23rd rank nationwide. He was awarded with a trophy & certificate. #proudschool #amazing
In June Penny M in Y8 spent 4 days in Jersey for the International Senior Schools Table Tennis tournament. Penny came 5th in the team event. Yesterday, Penny played at the North Gwent table tennis tournament & came runner up in the u15s mixed event. #welldone #proudschool
Jacob B in Y8 qualified to represent Brynteg & the Glamorgan Valleys Junior Boys in the 200m at the Welsh Schools Championships in Aberdare. He raced against Y9 boys from across Glamorgan Valleys Schools in May to secure a place in the final, winning a silver medal. #Welldone Jacob! #proudschool

Congratulations and well done to Lewis D in Year 8 who competed in the youth race that used the last 3km of the London marathon route, passing Buckingham Palace and The Mall. He came 6th out of all the U13 boys and the Welsh team came in first place.
