Self diagnosis is valid, so I agree with you here. If you feel the benefit of a formal assessment would be desired, suggest you seek a #PsyD (psychiatric diagnostician) who advertises as #NeurodivergentAffirming and bring copies from that series with you.

If you're not explicitly current on #DSM5 assessment criteria for #autism, & unwilling to get current, you should not be performing #assessment activities.

What you should be doing is referring to a #PsyD, who specializes in assessments by DSM5 criteria.

Anything else is harmful and unethical.
