reference sheet featuring two characters, void and aether. void is a tall humanoid man made of iridescent black goo with a fat muscular build. he has a jagged white mouth and a spiked collar with white spikes. he has very long, spikey, straight hair covering his face and ending past his knees. horns atop his head resemble dog ears. two pairs of spikes jut out of his shoulders. his hands are clawed, his feet resemble that of a utahraptor. his tail is fat and fluffy but ends in a jagged scythe-like point. aether is a short humanoid girl made of pearlescent white goo with a curvy build. she has black, always crying eyes with white pupils and a black necklace with a 4-sided diamond shape. she has long curly hair that ends past her knees. horns atop her head resemble cat ears. her extremities resemble cat paws. she has a devil tail with spikes on it, it has a cat's body language. additional text on the reference sheet states: void and aether are gods with unlimited potential, but due to catastrophic consequences, their consciousnesses have been reduced to that of animals. they are constantly experiencing shifting moods, memories, consciousness, intentions, and knowledge. the only consistency is a bias towards the familiar. when fully conscious, their missing facial feature becomes visible in red. (the reference sheet shows void with red eyes and aether with a red mouth.) they get anxious without the other, rarely separated. they tend toward feral animal behavior at minimum consciousness. (the reference sheet shows tiny drawings of them sitting on all fours, void resembling a canine, and aether resembling a cat.) their bodies are made of goo, capable of full shapeshifting, but they don't like to. they can merge their minds and bodies at random. their goo ALWAYS remains opaque and never blends.
