A photo of a shady canyon with a lazy stretch of creek filling it's base at the bottom of the image. Reflected in the creek is a bright strip of waterfall at the head end of the creek. Rising on both sides of the creek are tall cliff walls. The one on the left covered in mosses bathed in golden afternoon sunlight coming from the upper right. The cliff on the right is in shade, but green foliage can be seen covering some of the walls, the rest is coated in living moss. A huge fallen tree trunk lies almost upside down from the top of the right hand cliff, and steeply down with it's head buried in the water. The white vertical streak of the falls punctuates the base of the canyon. The canyon from there forms a rough "V" shape, up toward the right and left corners of the image. The sides of the V are lined with tall stately green conifer trees reaching high into the partially clouded sky, with a patch of blue sky to the top left.

The towering forest of mature green trees, the moss covering everything, the rushing Creek nestled in it's canyon. From a birthday hike in 2015.
