This is a hidden gem out of all of the waterfalls in Mount Rainier National Park, that we never got a chance to hike to. Pearl Falls. But I could see it from one of the lookouts! Maybe one day we'll be back in Washington & can hike to it. It's 400ft tall, off a basalt cliff.

Waterfall that branches into three streams in a creek. The area around the falls is grassy, there are some trees in the background, but unfortunately they burned in the Eagle Creek fires which were started by someone using fireworks during a burn ban.

This was a small but relaxing #waterfall to stop at briefly on a hike through Sugarloaf Ridge State Park near Kenwood in Sonoma County, #California. It had a soothing sound of running water to soak in, as opposed to that of a roaring behemoth.

Last time I visited the Dam was 9 months ago, and came close to killing myself clambering across rocks to get a pano ... this time I went up close. Like watching a coin pusher in the arcade, but with multi-ton fallen trees.

Riding this long waterfall in Alaska to experience a float experience down the rapids on the Mendenhall river on a “Yellow Banana,” was cramped and uncomfortable, but thrilling. It felt like surfing a 2 km waterfall.
