Star Type and Cadence are dressed as Boyfriend and Girlfriend, respectively, from Friday Night Funkin’. Star Type is rapping into the microphone while giving a peace sign (note that the hat doesn’t fit entirely on his head). Cadence is sitting on the speaker the way Girlfriend usually does, with crossed legs, and she’s subtly turning up the volume dial with her thumb. The speaker is loosely modeled after the Sega Genesis speakers you could preorder back in the day.
What would Halloween be without an #oc costume party? This one was a request from Cadence’s designer; hope you like it!

To make up for the lack of Dig Dug inspired socks, the bottom of her shoes have a zig zag on them to separate the soles from the rest. Her compass is now an emblem on her chest. But uh oh! Without a neck, her dot-necklace can’t be worn, so it’s sitting on the ground next to her.

Ellie Mina’s pigtails have now been shortened, because I felt that the long ones went against gravity. Her bangs are now part of her overall hair, making it look less like a mustache. Her slippers have their mouths closed, with buck teeth replaced by fangs, making it less likely for Taito to send lawsuits. The bottom of her overalls reach the top of the slippers, so no socks are visible.

Ms. Location (as a drawing) is sitting on the right of the table across from Sean Evans (as a photograph). She is breathing fire due to the spiciness of the hot sauce. The way her mouth is open resembles that of Pac-Man viewed from the side. Actually, this gives a good look at her socks, which are inspired by the Dig Dug dirt colors. If you can guess what the color of the fire is based off of, you win a cookie. I hope I didn't leave too many artifacts in this piece. It's tricky to do photoshops when the source art is drawn on paper, but it's more fun that way! I had to do a little GIMP magic on her eye, though, which is why it looks more solid color than the rest of her.
Just because Ms. Location is a foodie doesn't make her the #purveyor of hot sauce! Better cool down, and fast!
(This is one of my more ambitious pictures given it's the first time I tried editing one of my drawings onto an existing picture. Hopefully it turned out alright!)
